The Strength In Caution

but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

There is a refreshing when we heed the LORD’s caution to rest. There is a building up to higher heights when we heed the LORD’s caution to rise up. There is a pace maintained when we heed the LORD’s caution to press on. There are goals attainable when we heed the LORD’s caution to stay the course.

God is big on waiting, doing big things for those who wait on Him.

As I write this post I am resting. Resting due to a running injury. Taking a time out to a healing that will only come by waiting. By heeding. That will all be to my betterment. God promises His very best to those who trust in His timetable. Those who delight themselves in His scheduling.

As a runner I have become branded to forward motion. There is a celebration in my spirit to every footfall no matter the distance. And now I can wait to run, again.

He is most worthy of my wait.

So let’s go Christians, His best is yet for those who wait!
