The Way Counters The Wicked

An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous, but one whose way is straight is an abomination to the wicked. Proverbs 29:27

My noted thoughts:

Competition is from God.
So is partnership.
God gets the ‘W’.

Have you ever known someone to have the same enthusiasm for doing wrong as you have for doing right? They somehow share the same zeal, same drive you have for building someone up as they do for tearing someone down?

Imagine motivation meeting its match. Its equal.

This verse shares with us that offense and defense are equally matched. But that God gets the win (Proverbs 29:26). Delight and disgust share a commonality but not the same victory.

“Many seek the face of a ruler, but it is from the LORD that a man gets justice.” Proverbs 29:26

The wisdom found in verse 27 is to keep on the straight. To keep the resolve of righteousness. Just as wickedness undermines, righteousness overtakes.

So let’s go Christians, it’s our partnership in Christ that gets the ‘W’.
